There is no guarantee of GPA in the transfer university. You can only look at past records.
- Size of each class: Canadian universities have over 100 students in each year 1 class, which is difficult to adapt to. UTP has 30-40 students per class and organizes extracurricular activities, making it easier for students to find like minds and integrate into Canadian university life.
- Admission requirements : Canadian universities’ deadlines, DSE scores, and subject requirements are not compatible with those of mainstream universities in Hong Kong . For example, the deadline for DSE exams has already been set, 24 points in 6 DSE subjects are required, and even studying business requires an M1! If your IELTS score is not up to standard, you are required to take an extra semester of English, and you cannot take concurrent credits! UTP is best to fill these “outside the box” and provide an entry point for Hong Kong students who want to study in Canadian universities .
