What is Community College?

U.S. community colleges provide the first two years of undergraduate education, where graduates can transfer to 3^rd and 4^th year of university in U.S. / Hong Kong to complete their degree.

Community colleges focus on teaching and do not do academic research, which explains the 50% discount in tuition when compare to university.

U.S. Community College Without IELTS

Admission requirement: age 16 or above

Prospect:

• Students will receive State high school diploma and Associate Degree after 2 years of study

• Such qualification will enable student transfer to 3^rd & 4^th year of universities around the world.

Priority Admission to University of California (UC)

All University of California (UC) campuses are world renowned universities, but they have less than 15% admission quota for international students.

California community college (CC) becomes the best spring board for HKDSE graduates to enter UC because admission quota allocated for CC transfer to UC is 2-3 times higher than international students direct apply to UC.

Admission requirement: HKDSE + IELTS.  If over age 18, no need HKDSE.
