
U.S. boarding school is for those with good academics but in need of a better platform and space to pursue non-academic ambition / curiosity.
This direction aligns with Top U.S. universities’ admission strategy. Therefore, American boarding school is for:
Students that have self expectation and are interested in happenings around him / her; &
Parents that believe education also takes place outside of classroom.
Ranking: some U.S. universities require applicants to submit SAT / ACT academic aptitude test results. Parents can use boarding school graduates’ SAT / ACT average as one of the school selection parameters.
U.S. high school curriculum is pretty flexible, parents can see if the boarding school has interesting curriculum / elements such as: STEM, competitions, speaker series, etc.

Apply for lower grade of entry, e.g. G9; &
