Top U.S. Universities without SAT Requirement

US University Admission Requirements

There are 4,000 universities in the United States , but more choices do not mean it is easy. There are 26 universities in the United States that are more difficult to get into than the University of Cambridge or the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom, with a success rate of less than 15%.

The admission requirements for American universities are determined by the universities themselves. Therefore, the requirements vary greatly and are not linked to rankings. They must be individually integrated according to the background of each applicant. For example, some of the top 100 American universities do not require you to have science subjects after Form 3, but some American universities outside the top 100 require international student applicants to have 2 years of science subjects in high school.

7 Common U.S. University Admission Requirements

  • SAT or ACT
  • High school grades
  • High School Elective Courses
  • IELTS or TOEFL
  • Personal Statement (PS)
  • Teacher recommendation
  • Application deadlines vary, but priority will be given to applicants who complete their application by Christmas of their last year of high school.

Although the admission requirements of American universities are complicated, Maxway has integrated some of the most popular and cost-effective American universities and their requirements for international students. None of them require SAT or ACT , and some of them also have world university rankings. Applicants need to pay attention to the deadlines:
