FAQ about studying engineering at Canadian universities

1. Can I transfer from the faculty of science to the engineering faculty at a Canadian university?

Generally, engineering schools have a year 1 common core requirement for students majoring in engineering. Students majoring in the faculty of science are not allowed to take these courses, so you cannot transfer to the engineering major through the faculty of science. Therefore, it is more effective for you to consider the above path of majoring in engineering rather than taking the faculty of science in college and then transferring to engineering.

2. Do all Canadian universities require chemistry, physics and M2 for engineering?

Yes, this is the basic requirement of all provinces and universities, not a special requirement of theological schools. It’s just that theological schools require additional examinations.

If you are in Form 4, you can go to a Canadian high school at the latest in the second semester of Form 4 to make up for your studies and choose to study engineering at a Canadian university.
