Going to the UK after finishing Form 4: If you do not choose M1, M2 or science subjects, your chances of studying science and engineering at a UK university will be reduced (for details, see UK university admission requirements ). You hope to build a foundation for studying A-level science through one year of GCSE , because famous UK secondary schools only allow students with relevant backgrounds to study science A-level.
To be admitted to a British medical school, you must first be selected for an interview. Most British medical schools select candidates based on GCSE and British Medical Entrance Examination scores. Without GCSE scores, you will lose one indicator for British medical schools to consider.
