IB Studies In Language And Literature

There are two courses, Language Literature or Literature, both with Higher Level (HL) or Standard Level (SL) to choose from, so students have to choose one of the four courses.

Literature requires students to analyze works from a literary perspective, and all materials belong to the Literature level;
Only half of Language Literature is analysis of literary works, and the other half includes topics from daily life, such as advertisements.

IB Language Acquisition

There are two IB courses to choose from: ab initio (SL) or Language B (Higher Level HL or Standard Level SL)

• ab initio is suitable for students who have no relevant language foundation

• Language B (HL or SL) is suitable for students who have at least 2-3 years of basic knowledge of a language.
